Boarding a Ferry at St Malo

The Gare Maritime du Nay at Saint Malo in Northern France is a relatively small ferry port with only one loading berth, so boarding is simpler than at the larger ports. Here we are driving down the ramp onto 'Bretagne', the Brittany Ferries vessel which runs a return journey between Southampton and St Malo daily. Bretagne is a modern, spacious ship with plenty of facilities, and a full complement of cabins, to make the six-plus hour crossing (longer at night) comfortable for passengers.
