Alpe d'Huez is a vibrant ski village, at an altitude of 1869 metres, in the Oisans Alpes, approximately an hour from Grenoble. With mostly south-facing slopes, it benefits from plenty of sun. There are almost 250km of pistes in the Grandes Rousses ski area, of which Alpe d'Huez is part. It includes France's longest black run, the 16km La Sarenne.

Les Bergers is in a quiet area of the village, but within a short walk of the shops and restaurants. Views to the front are of across village, while to the rear is the Valley and Massif of the Ecrins.

All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen with hob, microwave grill/oven, coffee machine, kettle and dishwasher. In the living area there's a television and telephone. Beds have duvets, and bed linen and towels are provided. There's a bathroom and separate toilet.

Accommodation options are studios to sleep 3/4 or 4/6, 1 bedroom apartment to sleep 5/6, or studio mezzanines which sleep up to 8.

A hamper delivery service is available (there is also a small Intermarché supermarket within a couple of minutes' walk), and for those who prefer not to cook, there's a restaurant and bar overlooking the heated outdoor swimming pool.

Car parking is available, price 55 Euros for a week. There is free outdoor parking, subject to availability of space, 200 metres from the Les Bergers.
