The Orchids

My name is Patricia Corbière. I am Austrian, and my husband Alain teaches English at the College of Fine Arts in Amiens.

Our house used to be a little farm, and we turned it into a lovely B&B, entirely rebuilt.

We are orchid-lovers and shall be proud to show you our orchid collection.

We have two rooms for two people (one of them is suitable for handicapped people) with independent access, bathroom and toilets in each room. We also have two rooms for three people, with indepedent access, with bathroom and separate toilets in each room.

Delicious breakfast is served in the conservatory, with home-made bread and cakes, cereals and home-made fruit-salad

Our little village, Blangy-Tronville, is only 5 miles from Amiens, its breathtaking cathedral and its world-famous water-gardens. Blangy has a protected marshland with many fishing ponds and a circular footpath. Hikers can also walk to Amiens along the towpath of the Somme, we'll kindly pick them up from there back to our place, on request.

We speak fluent English and German.

We are only 3 miles from Villers-Bretonneux, well-known by Aussie travellers.
